Permission for Private Burial

  • Write to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Ecclesiastical Affairs, Family and Gender Affairs requesting permission to bury on private property
  • The Ministry will write to the Chief Environmental Health Officer requesting an investigation of the property
  • The applicant will be notified by letter of the approval/disapproval of his/her request
  • Following is a list of Required Documents:
    • Application Letter
    • Copy of Certificate of Title for land to be used as burial place
