Inclusion on the list of Charitable Organizations Eligible for Tax Exemptions

  • Write to the Hon. Minister for Ecclesiastical Affairs, Family and Gender Affairs requesting consideration for inclusion on the list of charitable organizations eligible for tax exemptions
  • Present letter of application and other required/relevant documents to the Ministry of Ecclesiastical Affairs, Family and Gender Affairs for processing
  • The Ministry will request approval from Cabinet
  • The applicant will be notified by letter of the approval/disapproval of his /her request
  • Following is a list of required documents:
    • Application Letter
    • Original or notarized copy of Certificate of Registration/Incorporation as a non-profit organization in Dominica
    • List of Board of Directors
    • Evidence of charitable activities

NB: Please note that all documents will be kept for the Ministry's records. Therefore persons who wish to have their documents returned should provide certified/notarized copies along with the originals.
